Pathologist and Senior Scientist Workforce Modelling 2016 to 2030

Nature and scope
The Royal College of Pathologists Australia commissioned KBC Australia to undertake workforce modelling for each discipline of Pathologists and Senior Scientists for Australia and New Zealand.

This study involved: detailed projection modelling by discipline; reviews the data on trainees within Australia, profiles historic trends in the growth of trainees determining the extent to which trainees are needed as supply for the Australian or New Zealand workforce; workforce issues for Senior Scientists who are members of the College; and developing a strategy for undertaking workforce modelling for this group of members for both Australia and New Zealand.

Outcomes
