This evaluation was commissioned to review the first 12 months of the KAPAP Program (July 2014-June 2015). To assess the appropriateness and effectiveness of the Food&ME™ educational resources and professional learning. The evaluation focussed specifically on the Food&ME™ component of the Fresh Tastes primary school initiative and the Food&ME 7&8 resource, trialled by five high schools participating in ‘It’s Your Move’.
The evaluation design involved elements of process and impact evaluation. The evaluation aimed to describe and assess the reach and appropriateness of the KAPAP program and to measure the change in staff confidence and ECEC service practices as a result of their participation in KAPAP as well as consider the sustainability of the program
