To work with the Executive Officer of NQRDGP in establishing Mt Isa office, service agreements with the Mt Isa and Charters Towers Health Service District, recruitment of Manager of the Outreach Service, orientation of Manager to program and to communities

Establishment of Community Panel, comprising of representatives from the 11 communities serviced by the North West QLD Allied Health Service, to advise in the implementation of the service, monitoring and evaluation
Outcome:
Manager appointed January 2002, full complement of allied health professionals recruited by May 2002. Services to communities commenced April 2002. Community Panel formed April 2002. Service agreements developed and signed off by District Health Service Managers (Mt Isa September 2001, Charters Towers May 2002).
